NPI Test Engineer

The Job

In collaboration with R&D, our NPI Test Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting automated test systems (hardware and software) used to test our products during mass production. 

Your Mission

As NPI Test Engineer, you will develop the test strategies for our GNSS receivers, as well as assemble the test setups and implement algorithms. You also will test programs. 

You’ll work closely with our contract manufacturing partners to install, qualify, and support testing of our products. You resolve manufacturing test issues as they arise to ensure on time delivery of products to our customers.  You monitor the quality of the products manufactured and together with R&D, the production and industrialization team continuously improve the quality of the products that we have on the market. 

Your Qualifications

You’re a quality-minded, hands-on, and detail-oriented Electronics or Computer Science specialist with an investigative nature and a strong analytical mind. You have at least five years of experience with test design and test automation, focusing on software (Hardware is a plus). And you’re familiar with Python, C, and C++. Experience with IOT and Raspberry Pi is a big plus. An understanding of PCB/PBA manufacturing processes (IPC standards) or hardware design knowledge are a plus. You love working in the great city of Leuven, but five days of traveling towards our contract manufactures or other suppliers, from time to time, is something you’re happily willing to do.
