TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST

The Job

In this role, you will be reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager within the IT department. You’ll get the opportunity to get a broad insight in Septentrio’s organization, allowing you to grow and to understand, improve and digitalize the business processes within the organization.

The Business Analyst introduces new system-enabled business capabilities and supports these together with a group of key users and process owners, both on a functional and a technical level.

You turn your technical IT & programming skills into business value by digitalizing our processes and integrating several of our business tool.

Your mission

You will be translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. Actively engaging with stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives will be part of your mission.

You also will collaborate with IT, DevOps, and vendors to design and integrate technical solutions. You’ll oversee the end-to-end implementation process, employing robust quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Further, you will master our business tools (SAP, Salesforce, 24flow, PowerBI, Jira, etc.). You will resolve day-to-day issues raised by end users, communicate effectively, and identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement to meet changing business needs.

You will assist in project management. And aim to increase harmonization in tools and processes, maintaining comprehensive documentation and staying up-to-date with industry trends for continuous improvement.

You’ll be communicating and reinforcing standard business process concepts and methodology. Providing training to managers and key users and draft internal user documentation and work instructions.

Your qualifications

You hold a master’s degree in IT or in engineering with focus on IT, ideally combined with an economics or a management degree.

You have a minimum of 5 years working experience.

You are skilled in programming languages (SQL, Java) and eager to learn new systems and tools.

You can think conceptually, to see and work on the bigger picture.

You can work independently, up for a challenge, eager to learn, and result oriented.

You have developer experience in SAP, Salesforce, Phyton, etc. and experience with ABAP and Apex is considered to be a big plus.

You are fluent in English.

You have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
